7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTaxpayers probably spend more on this school than the other elementary schools combined, but it’s still really bad with no leadership and a lot of troubled kids receiving no mental health services. The only thing that’s changed is that they now spend half the school year preparing to take state tests and they get creative with repeating those tests until certain kids get to the right score - not necessarily passing, just improving 5 points or whatever the case may be. Which I guess is good enough to satisfy the school board and the state.Parent Review3y ago - Staunton High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at this school. It is now called Staunton High and it has been completely remodeled. The school had a lot of issues in the past and continues to have lots of issues but it has gotten better in the last couple of years. It has a problem with losing teachers but continues to hire every year.Other Review2y ago - Shelburne Middle School

"What I have noticed after 14yrs of living here is that Frontier Dr. is a pretty busy street. The neighborhood although quiet is friendly. No dogs barking through the night. One of the first roads to be plowed in winter weather. Excellent access to Rt. 11, 81 and 64."

"We have fun playgrounds and Staunton is very walkable. I would be cautious about playing in front yards around here that aren’t fenced in because people fly down hills without regard to kids or pets or strays in the road. "
