I do wish that our community was a bit more engaged and more activities were provided for families very seldom do we have parades and small events in the downtown area but outside of that Portsmouth doesn't make an attempt to bring the community get together ,keep it clean, and safe for that matter. Portsmouth Virginia needs change. I would for once like to take pride in where I live doesn't have to be top-of-the-line to be comfortable safe enjoyable. Sometimes I sit and I wonder and what can we do to make Portsmouth a better place."
