"I love living by the water....but you can't make friends here. The neighborhood kids are bullies and parents don't care of they beat on other children and steal whatever they want. The humans in this area are not the nicest people. Can't wait to find a better neighborhood. My chdren can't play without being hurt and tormented by others. I've had to call police 5 times in a year "

"I’m not aware of events in the neighborhood. We moved here recently and haven’t found the time to meet our neighbors. So far all looks and feels pleasant. I walk around the side walks in the evenings with my 15 month old nephew and are greeted by friendly folks walking their dog or coming home from work. Side walks, yards are kept up. We get delivery packages left on our porch with no issues. "

"I have never seen dogs running at large. I am assuming that most people have fenced yards or that they only let them out on a leash. I also have never seen animal control patrolling the neighborhood. This should attract good people to the neighborhood. I have never seen any cats roaming the neighborhood and I have never seen any evidence of people’s trash cans knocked over either. I have only been here for 2 years but everything seems to be legal."

"I don’t know of any. Occasional I go to the library. I go to the grocery store, about 7 miles away, when I have access to a car. I used to go to Greenies until they tore it down. Sometimes I’d go to the Ocean View diner for lunch or breakfast, but now they are going to tear it down. Pretty soon there will be nothing here in OV that I can afford to go to or get to. It’s not fair what “they” are doing to OV! I wish “they” had more consideration for the people here who are not rich. The poor don’t have a chance!!!! Isn’t there anybody out there that could help out us poor working/retired stiffs? It is just not fair that when you work all your life only to get to old age and the rug is pulled out from under you! There has to be some people out there with a little competition. No grocery store for months, good, affordable places are torn down, senior center moved far away...what next?"

"I've lived in the area since 2009 and I love it. It is an up and coming neighborhood with new houses being built all the time. The neighbors are friendly and people just love to love OV. We really lucked out when we bought our home and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. "
