    "We lived in Bernard Village last year. We rented our home for 4 years-wish we could have purchased it, but the owners weren't selling. We loved the area. We were blocks from the new City Center, medical offices, Shopping, etc. The neighbors were so friendly and we felt safe. City Center has a large movie theater now, which was in the process of being built while we were living there. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else, but in this area of Newport News. We lived in the Denbigh area for a year, and we couldn't compare the two areas. It was apples to oranges."
