4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my children (one with an IEP) attend Maybeury. The school is a wonderful community. The teachers have been amazing. I honestly feel like they know each of my children and appreciate them for their individual skills and talents. My kids are thriving. The PTA is active and provides so many opportunities and additional resources for both teachers, students and families overall. Go for a tour of the school! 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSOME teachers are great and amazing, people love their class and are excited to learn. Some teachers, on the other hand, are just unfair, and normally the person who was being bullied or whatever gets in trouble. A lot of teachers honestly do not care when people are cursing, or when people are being racist. Sometimes they care, but if someone is being racist to Asian people, they don't. I understand that not all schools are perfect, but sometimes it is unacceptable how they get angry at friendly playing around, but not when people are actually being mean. Also, they PAY for apps like LEXIA Power up, which is supposed to teach you grammar or whatever, but really just takes 30 minutes to explain one activity, and if you get a question wrong, they don't explain why, they just make you answer 5 questions. If you mess up any of those, you have to answer MORE questions. Other than that, it is a great school.Student Review2mo ago - Freeman High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is mixed race. This is a good school, but racial prejudice is still an issue, as is the case throughout America. I'm white and there is simply no reason for anyone to use the "N" word, and as frequently as my kid heard it. To broad brush the entire school as sub-performing though is unfair,Parent Review9mo ago - Check out schools near 8925 Midway Rd.

"It's convenient to everything - shopping, highways, healthcare. Housing prices are a bit high, over $1,000 for most one bedroom apartments without utilities. That may not be high for a lot of markets, but it is for here. "

"must have a car or transportation. It would depend on where you want to go. Downtown is roughly 8-miles away and shopping is an extra 2 to 3 miles depending on your needs. Main interstate highway is 2.5 miles (I295 North & south bound). commuting to work is a straight shot to 295 south towards Hopewell. "
