    "As a 20 year resident and owner of a technology business, Christiansburg offers an ideal location: the recreation center is a full, free gym & athletic center for all residents. The new Aquatic center is the best & largest west of Richmond, and the expanding Huckleberry trail is now a great connector to Blacksburg. Our area is consistently rated in the top 10% nationally for places to live, work and retire. Plus, we have experienced outstanding job growth with tech companies around the universities here. We moved to the area after military service overseas, thinking it would be a nice place to study then relocate. But it has been a wonderful spot to raise our family, start a business, and soon, retire!"

    "I have lived on Silver Leaf Drive for 1 year now and the neighborhood is great, low through traffic, quiet, very short walk or drive to Christiansburg Recreation Center or Aquatic Center, and the Huckleberry Trail extension when completed in spring 2014! Food Lion/Kroger and other shopping (banking, pharmacy, restaurants) are just up the street! Christiansburg High School is walking distance and several stops for the VT Metro shuttles in the neighborhood. I like the mix of Townhomes and traditional houses just across the street."

    "I've lived here since 2007 and always feels safe. It's very quiet for the number of people who live in the area, and I've never heard any sounds from neighbors on both sides. It's like living in a single dwelling. "

    "There are several different subdivisions that morph into a huge one. Make sure you are specific when talking about Diamond Hill vs Diamond Hill South (there is always a bit of confusion). These neighborhoods are very animal/kid friendly. We've owned 2 homes (1 in Vista Via for 4 yrs, the other in DHS for 5 yrs & counting)....kids out riding bikes, scooters, etc & everyone walking dogs - it's a great atmosphere! I highly recommend Christiansburg over Blacksburg anyday!"

    "Yes, I live in this subdivision and find it most difficult to have the town clear the snow from these roads. I would like to see the owner clean up some of what I consider a mess in his lots for sell . I have been trying for over a year for him to clear the lot below my home and remove trees that are a hazard to my home.and the homes of others. We are susposed to have a walking trail, but none in sight. "
