The inside now has wood laminate throughout, a completely new bathroom with marble tile, and a new Ikea kitchen with three brand new appliances. The home has a small sitting porch at the front entrance. The main living room-dining room has a glistening chandelier in its center, historic fireplace cabinets around its working fireplace, and a beautiful stain glass window. The first large bedroom has two french doors, a modern closet and two windows overlooking the quiet street.The second bedroom has a large closet and door directly into the bathroom. The bathroom is has a beautiful marble tile bathtub-shower, granite vanity cabinet, new mirrored medicine cabinet and toilet all on classic laid tile. A second door accesses the bathroom which is next to a third room that can be used as an office, dining area etc. The kitchen is a completely functional IKEA kitchen cabinets with large tile. The kitchen has a gas stove, a two door 21 cubic foot refrigerator,a portable dishwasher, a washing machine and a gas dryer. The home has a small basement and a small room in the back of the house that are great for storage. The kitchen opens to the fenced back yard which contains a nice block patio area. There is tandem parking available for two cars next to the house. The rent for this historic home is $1800 a month with a one month lease required. The deposit is $1850 but is completely refundable if the terms of the lease are met. This is a no smoking property for residents and guests. Pets are permitted in most cases depending on the size and number. All roommates must be at least 22 years old. A credit and criminal check will be run on all adult applicants at the time of applying with a $20-$25 fee required at time of application. All adults must have a good credit history in order to qualify. The home is available for occupancy beginning July 1, 2021.
