7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMountain View is absolutely amazing. We are a military family and our children have gone 4 other elementary schools. NONE of the other schools come close to the experience at Mountain View. The parent involvement in the PTA is unmatched. The spectrum program offers outstanding opportunities to challenge and develop your children. After 3 years at the school, we have yet to encountered a single teacher who, as stated below, needs to go.Other Review7y ago - Davis Connect K-6

"If you don’t travel during rush hours the drive to downtown is really quick. I can get there in about 20 minutes or less. During high business hours it can take about 45-60 minutes to get into the city. I feel really safe in Layton and I like all the schools. "

"I would guess about 1/2 of the people here have dogs. They’re all very friendly. We have an HOA that requires they be on a leash and owners must clean up all dog poop. Everyone seems to follow the rules very well. I don’t personally have a dog but I don’t mind any of the dogs being outside. I can never hear dogs barking from inside my house, I can only hear a dog if I’m outside at the same time as the dog or have windows opened. "
