3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't know what to think about a School that is cold and not very respectful to our active Military personnel. My daughter was planning on going to surprise her younger brother at lunch since he hadn't seen her in a long time and looks up to her, especially now that she is in the Air Force. When she called to make the plans with the front office, she was talked to in a very discourteous way, she even explained what she was planning on doing (going up there in full military gear BDU's) to surprise her brother, she was told "NO" and when she stated she was active military, she was told "that doesn't matter". Now we are land of the free and home of the brave because of brave people like my daughter and to hear, that's how she was treated, is UNBELIVEABLE! This school has lost ALL respect from my family and I. The people that are supposed to be molding our children to be productive and respectful, members of society, should not conduct themselves in this manner.Parent Review1y ago - Brewer Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s a pretty good school i would say. Some teachers are irritating, but you just have to learn to avoid them. Most kids here are pretty harmless, the worst that can happen is one weak punch or getting cussed out. Bullying was way worse last year, when i was in 5th grade, but the kids one year older than me have always been just mean for no reason. My only complaint is that, if you only have like 2 friends, and they aren’t on the same team, you will never be able to talk to them, so if you don’t have a phone or a house in a okay enough distance, your friendship is going to be really hard to keep going.Other Review2y ago

"Great place to raise your children. Don't really have to worry about them. The people are very nice to. My children live walking down to Central Park to meet there friends and play and I'm never scared about if they are ok or not. I want to continue to live in this area. We feel safe here."

"You see stray or dumped dogs frequently and people do not seem to teach their dogs basic ‘manners’. Dogs will come at you or your leashes dog aggressively and without being leashes themselves. Other dog owners will specifically use neighboring front lawns for their dogs’ business and with leashed dogs will allow the animal to be in control so there are many fight close calls and potential incidents invoking cars."

"This neighborhood is no different than any other American neighborhood. The only unique thing about it is that it is by an air base, so on top of everything you constantly have to listen to jets which you think couldn’t possibly get any louder, and then you realize you’re wrong, over and over again. It literally sounds like they’re falling out of the sky sometimes."

"There’s a lot of noise, lot of construction, kids yelling, dog fights, arguments, etc. Typically one wouldn’t walk around at night but the crime right isn’t AS bad as people think. Lot of drug addicts but that’s not unique in America"
