6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere has been more emphasis on my son's appearance than his learning experience. The staff was quick to contact me with their concerns with my son but rarely, if at all, returned my calls about my concerns. To my chagrin, I am forced to make my son attend RISD for a second year due to work and financial complications. I have taken notice of the progeny of this educational system and city as a whole. It may be a great setting for those with an old line, stone age mentality, however, progressives need not apply!!!!Parent Review8y ago - Robinson J High School

What Locals Say about Waco

"Hewitt Park is the closest neighborhood park for walking your dog and there are doggy bags available there as well as dog fountains. People do tend to leave their dog's waste behind instead of taking advantage of the easily accessible dog stations. Overall the neighborhoods aren't bad for dog walking with the exception of school zones and busy traffic areas."

"I live in the neighborhood, it's close to downtown, Baylor and I 35. Shopping and dining options are within walking distance. The neighborhood is very nice and friendly, mostly quiet at night. The only obstacles are the construction 🚧 sites in the area otherwise the area is very good and a great place to work, live, or to visit. "

"Good access to public transportation, usually a quiet neighborhood, feel safe walking, driving, etc. I don't commute but it can get busy on all the major streets at normal rush hour times. Other times it's very easy to get where you want to go; most everything is 10-15 minutes away. "
