10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTypical Texas public school that focuses on large workload with lots of unnecessary filler, focus on memorization, teaching kids to just "do as you are told" and constant testing. The kids have 2-4 test per weeks on top of constantly focusing on prepping for STAAR test. Unfortunately seems due to the politics (or should I say politricks) of Texas Education Agency (TEA) teachers are literally being turned into order takers and just doing what they are told which makes no common sense to really educate children.Yes men culture is running rampant.School is severely lacking in diversity within the staff. The was also no mention of Black History month or focus on Black History figures the entire month of February. The teaching is good, and many of my teachers are nice, but some are cold and mean.
