5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe students are completely irresponsible, the staff is pathetic. I turned in something to the AP for approval, and three weeks later without a reply, I went back to find out that they had thrown it away. When I wished to transfer classes, my parents and I have emailed my counselor twice, and then it was only after we had talked to the AP did she reply with "This matter is none of my concern, please speak with your teacher about it." This school neglects the needs of the student body, whether it be submitting transcriptions or helping students in general, and I feel that the staff is only there to collect their paycheck at the end of the month. There is no real drive or motivation to work in both the faculty nor the student body.Student Review8y ago - Dulles Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm surprised I even gave this school two stars. The counsellors are (in my experience) impatient and don't reprimand actual bullies well enough. Also, most five star reviews you should ignore. They're from people who went here years ago and might not have experienced Dulles Middle in a while, but that doesn't mean they're lying about their own experience. There are fights at least once a week. Some of the teachers don't seem to care about teaching as much as they should and shout far too much at the kids (though a lot of the teachers teach well, some are actually not fit for teaching). Some of the kids are disrespectful, but I won't put that on them since they're still learning. Apparently 8th grade dances were taken away because of a few people's misbehaviour (fall dances, events, etc).Parent Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 919 Longview Dr.

"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
