5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love Wilkerson!!! The teachers/staff are amazing!! they all come together and work very hard for the students! This past Saturday they put on a fall festival and they out for there selves!!! it was so amazing!! They worked extra hard and overtime hours that volunteered to do! I can't say enough about this school!! You can tell they all love working there and they all act like a team!Parent Review5mo ago - College Park High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've had three kids at College Park so far, and we love the school! The administration and teachers are so devoted to the students. We've especially been deeply grateful for the band and orchestra programs. You will not find directors who care more about their students than the ones at this school. They love each student like their own children. They are concerned for their mental well-being, and also help them develop self-discipline, concern for others, and other important life skills. Not only that, they somehow direct hundreds of students to create high-quality performances. The orchestra program is the best in the region, with consistently the most region orchestra members each year. Academically, the honors, dual credit, and AP courses seem to be rigorous enough, but usually not overwhelming. Not all the teachers have been stellar, but I think our kids have received a good education and are prepared for college. I've heard things about The Woodlands HS (drugs, negative experiences in the orchestra and band programs, etc.) that make me grateful that we chose to go with College Park.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 78 Marble Wood Ct.

"I have lived here since 2017 and I absolutely love this neighborhood. It's quite, friendly, safe and very child friendly. There is never any crime and you hardly ever hear emergency sirens. Every single neighbor has been wonderful and polite except one. "

"Best place to live in DC. It’s a beautiful neighborhood that is urban but not downtown. It’s all about the park and trail, tons of restaurants, things to do, grocery stores, markets, bar. Has its own metro in easy walking distance and a trail that connect you to the east side of the city. "
- Ryan B

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
