2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI must say that I am incredibly disappointed with this school. The way they treat their students is unacceptable. It's pretty alarming that they resort to threatening students with suspension to get them to attend classes while they are in the school hallway. I haven't removed my son from this school because he loves one of their programs. However, I strongly feel that this school does not prioritize the welfare of its students. Their so-called "Gold standard" is nothing more than a meaningless phrase. Many students attend school without their uniforms, and there are even incidents of gun threats. And to make matters worse, the school doesn't notify parents when such incidents occur.Parent Review2w ago - Twin Creeks Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school needs to be reassessed! My kids went here for 2 years passing with flying colors. I moved so now we are in a different district which I thank God for every day. My daughter was in the 3rd grade reading on a second grade level a beginners second grade level. You know its bad when the teacher at Salyers calls to tell you to get your child out the school. I spoke w my daughter and she said the teacher never teaches. My then second grader can help my then 3rd grader with homework once we moved schools. That itself speaks volume. Elementary is the kid’s foundation to life and this school doesnt prepare them for anything. My kids beg to go back to Salyers because in my daughters words, “i didnt do anything but be good and go to the treasure box because i was the only kid being quiet”Parent Review5mo ago - Carl Wunsche Sr High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy overall experience here has been has been great! While I was attending I took the opportunities that the school offered for grauanted. It wasn’t until this year during my college search where I became fully aware of the great things we do at Wunsche. When I would elaborate on my accomplishments and opportunities that Wunsche has to offer, all of the alumni and college admission officers were greatly impressed. Keep in mind, these were Ivy League and high tier institutions such as Georgetown and University of Pennsylvania. Wunsche has provided me with ample opportunities to have a successful live outside of high school.Student Review6y ago - Edward Roberson Middle School

"if you like run down trailers high grass lots of wild roaming dogs then this place is for you!some of it is well kept but this trailer is on junk yard lane and condemned house rd. so much trash and terrible roads price to rent way too high for the condition of neighborhood "

"Private but close Great views Not easy with little kids but the trade off is the feeling of more privacy and views. All of sb is a privilege to live in. The mountain side gets more sunshine especially in the winter and mornings. It's close to trails but only 7-10 min drive from the beach. Almost everywhere in Santa Barbara is under 15 min anyway. It's a magical bubble of a place to live. "

"The excessive homelessness makes this neighborhood unique. Along with the apparent disregard for the abandoned buildings and liters of trash everywhere. "
- Jeff Theobald

"Homeless treated better than folks paying all the taxes. City officials don’t care and waste money. Taxes to high, and pushing out businesses. So much waste of taxpayer dollars!"

"I don’t know of any community events. Besides maybe the pumpkin patch they had last Halloween. The neighbors are friendly, but everything is so isolated that it’s hard to grow a community outside of a few nice neighbors "
