6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve had two children with learning disabilities attend Corbett. SCUCISD is a great district. We’ve been to a few other being a military family. I don’t think I would have given the full 5 star review from my sons time here, BUT this year with my youngest, the Sped team has blown me away! This has to be one of the best Sped teams I’ve had the pleasure of working with.Parent Review1y ago - Samuel Clemens High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a terrible school and doesn’t care about students at all!! I called last year and left several messages because my daughter was being bullied only to get a call back several weeks later!! If you have a choice Steele would be a better option.Parent Review1y ago - Laura Ingalls Wilder Intermediate School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe're not happy here at all. I'm tired of telling my son that he has to go to school over his tears. This is not a school for bright young boys. There is no control over violent students. This stuff is Highschool type drama, not 5th and 6th grade. I'm extremely unhappy that I have no way to keep my kid safe on the bus or at school and the teachers seem completely ineffective with keeping their classes under control. I hate this school and so does my child.Parent Review5y ago - Norma J Paschal Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is fantastic. We’ve had a wonderful experience here for my kids for preschool, kinder, and first grade. I don’t know why it doesn’t have a 10/10 rating because it is a meticulously organized and thoughtfully run school full of passionate and kind educators. We’ve had Armstrong, France, Hamilton, and England, and they have taken such good care of my kids and taught them so much and you can tell these women love what they do and all their students. The principal and staff are super motivated and keep parents updated regularly. On the sixth day of school the principal was greeting every student by their first name. I wouldn’t have believed it but when I dropped my kids off I watched her stand there and greet each student and she does that every morning, it’s incredible how loved my children feel. We even did distance learning last year for the pandemic and it was well organized given the circumstances and the teachers were so understanding and flexible, which we really needed. The teaching staff uses an app this year and last year called dojo to communicate with parents, it makes it so easy to stay in touch and message the teachers with questions and concerns and often the teacher sends out pictures of the kids doing activities throughout the day which really reassures me that they are in good hands. My only concerns are really more regarding the school district as a whole, I wish the kids were given more time outside as they only get two 15 minute recesses which is pretty standard nation wide but I would love to see more of a nature focus in the curriculum. Otherwise you can’t do better than this school!Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 2620 Kline Cir.

"4th of July Parade and Festival of Angels in early December are unique city events that attract many of the city’s residents. Schertz is more than just a safe community with convenient access to everything; it still feels like a small town here in most parts, though rapidly advancing development along FM3009 and points East is leading to big city headaches like traffic congestion, especially at drive times"

"We’ve lived in Schertz for 10 years and it’s both diverse and cohesive. There are many military families that retire to this community. Jonas Woods is a great neighborhood. "

"I always see people walking/running with their dogs and the dogs are so friendly and always seem to have a blast. The dogs are always on a leash and there are water fountains for people and dogs that are working and always seem to be in a good clean condition. "

"Close to 35 and easy to get around as long as 3009 isn’t congested. Traffic can be bad in the mornings but once you get to 35 it doesn’t take long."

"It’s a bit of a drive but I genuinely like Schertz-Cibolo area. Traffic on 35 is horrible at almost anytime of the day, I do wish TXDOT had a game plan that would be sooner vs later. "

"Car is the main source of transportation or you gotta carpool via park ’n ride. Bus has not quite making its way here yet. Motorcycles and cycles are not as popular but they are around. The rush hours require extra half an hour or more. Compare to ten years ago, the automobile volume has increased tremendously. The housing and developments are popping up in drove. This area and surrounding are growing fast but it still has its suburbia charm. Outside of rush hours, traffic is still pretty nice. Most conveniences are nearby so commute is not lengthy."
