They always suspend my daughter for extremely dumb reasons and they just suspended her again today. For what reason may you ask? For defending herself from a little boy body shaming her and she always gets in trouble because she ALWAYS defends herself and protects others she is very caring and i didn't know till now that she is starving herself to try and loose weight! No kid should feel this way !! and she had a conversation with me telling me she feels like nobody wants her there and that really hurts my feelings cause how they are making my daughter feel and I have relized this too that whenever there is a special thing going on at school they suspend my daughter for unreasonable reasons like today is a dance happening after school and she HAS too be in it,it is apart of her grade for Dance class and they suspended her she was so happy for the dance she has been talking about it since her last dance which they also suspended her for that dance too and that was a week before thanksgiving!!! Now she is here crying upset and wants to move schools cause she feels unwanted by the school,once she came home for a whole week straight crying everyday from getting in trouble they also didn't want to tell her the reason they were sending her home all that week .But I am moving my daughter's schools and Im going to make sure she is okay and keep checking up on her. Don't put your kids in this school it will probably be the worst decision to make for your child's education!.

This school is amazing, it made me move up a grade!

Staff is not focused on the kids and disabilities, they are not willing to help parents whos kids having learing disabilities and quick to remove them from the school instead of finding alternative sources for the kids. Do not recommend this school they are only worried about their staff and how they present the school the kids are the last priority. Kids are not robots and every child is different, if you choose to work with children you should be willing to be patient with kids not yelling at them.

The information along with the reviews are VERY OUTDATED. South San can be compared to any school in the city & even out with it. South San is NOT what it was 15 - 20 years ago. We have a Brand new school with state of the art equipment for use & great staff on board. We offer many paths for programs for college for students to enroll. All South San does is stress the importance of moving on into your next career field & helping you on the way. Do not always believe what Fox news puts on tv trying to represent us as still a "Ghetto school" because we are not. We have little to none Gang Violence & school fights because everybody just keeps to their group. The only real problem I can say is the National Honor Society is NOT taken seriously, but rather as a joke because anybody can get in & will probably graduate as one even if you had failing grades in the past year. South San is a great school that stresses college on the first day to freshmen & along with all students having the chance to choose their career. Now with the reviews in the past stating "Too much stress on students & not much help on teachers" is BS because us teenagers just like to wait last second to do things.

Lots of fights violence teachers do not care kids only come cause we have a good sports program
