I am not one of those popular kids but that doesn't mean they pick on me, we are all like family. The teachers are great and the schools program definitely focuses on education! I also have to say there are many non-sport activities to be involved in such as 4-h, FFA, UIL, Scouts, and much more. "Typical San Angelo, no sidewalks for walking. The houses were all built in the 70’s. But the neighborhood is nice and affordable and safe. The biggest plus, this neighborhood is on the same power grid as the hospital - we’ve never had a power outage here. "

"this neighborhood is very friendly and quiet.. I've lived here for 41/2 years now and I love it. I feel safe and I feel that my kids are in a safe neighborhood. Sometimes there has been dogs out of the yards but they have all been friendly..there is more cats than dogs thou for sure!! "

"There are a hand full of parks near this location, within walking distance. This area is centrally located to most popular restaurants and shopping spots. It is directly next to loop 306, so traveling to the other side of town is quick as well. I love living over here because I'm not far from anything. My neighbors are always friendly and willing to talk, and I don't ever worry about my mail or packages being stolen. There are new homes being built in this area that are affordable for new families, and many older homes are being remodeled. Most of the lots have large front and back yards, so we have room for our dogs and a place to build a shop."
