5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have one child in Elementary, one in middle, and one in high school. The elementary school is actually pretty good which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. The middle and high school have a serious bullying issue, not only from students but from some of the teachers as well. Also several of the teachers assign work on the iPad but don't teach the lesson or like to answer questions so the students are left to try to figure it out on their own. We moved to this district this year but we'll be moving again to put the kids in a better district next year.Parent Review4y ago - Seele Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSeele is a bit tough to judge. Although the school's test scores are impressive, it has a bit of a bullying problem. When transferring into the 5th grade, I was initially turned away. They claimed that they did not have enough seats, and that there was a bit of an overcrowding problem. However, I was accepted right away when they recieved my TAAS scores, and I was placed in a large "gifted and talented" classroom. On one hand, the students were learning material far beyond their age group and making very impressive grades. Where I was used to making straight A's, I was struggling to keep on the A-B honor roll. In that sense, Seele is ideal in terms of educational development. On the other hand, I had my first and only experiences of being bullied. As a new student, and being from modest means, I was a victim of teasing and I struggled to make friends. Its a quality school with high standards, but I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on the bullying situation.Other Review10y ago - Oakrun Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely horrible worst athletic program I have ever seen at a school. Coaches need to be coaches and coach the students that want and have the desire to achieve their athleticism regardless of how much money your mommy and daddy make and if they’re in PTA or not! The most cliche school I have ever seen and my kid said he’s never seen anything like it before it’s awful the bullying. On a positive note he loves all his classes so far this year he’s in the 7th grade.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 610 Ridge Hill Dr.
