    "Having lived here for the past 14 years, I can highly recommend this place in the historic Idylwood Addition of Longview. A delightful screen porch off the kitchen lends views of birds and azaleas. Young Street is 4 lanes and has an hourly Longview Transit route that goes downtown. Just a mile from LeTourneau University, a mile from the Amtrak Rail Station and the new multi-modal center, less than 2 miles from downtown shopping, churches and Good Shepherd Medical Center, and less than 5 miles from the north loop or I-20 to the south. The lot extends from Young Street through to Oakdale Street, where the vacant lot is perfect for cookouts or quiet reflection. The yard is completely fenced. The house and garage roof is a year old with new turbines added. The hot water heater is 2 years old, as is the side-by-side GE refrigerator. A workshop attached to the double garage has a workbench waiting for your projects. There are 2 fig trees, a mature pecan tree, raspberry & blueberry bushes, nandena, and several mature oak trees in the house yard and in the extended lot, bamboo, bridal wreath, and other lovely plants.
