2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDuring my years of being a student I would honestly say Elsik was one of THE WORST school experiences of my entire life, the assistant principals and staff were extremely rude and left me emotionally traumatized however, some of the teachers are very kind and patient to students.Student Review6mo ago - Hastings High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe AP's Wheaton and Thompson are so disrespectful to students and parents. They single kids out and degrade them in anyway they could. The teaching in core subjects like math reading and all are not good. They pick and choose who they want to help and don't help. Nothing gets better are has been done good at this school. My child will not be attending this school for her 8th grade year. This school needs to be shut down or get Thompson and Wheaton out the school. They name the school look really bad.Parent Review9mo ago - Sneed Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlief Taylor = Crowded. The students will carry you to your next class. Just not in five minutes. Staff: great staff members, probably the best. Teachers: easygoing and friendly, can be unorganized sometimes. Classes: Non-intensive work. Not easy to find rooms Sports: very well done Students: student body (can) be obnoxious and misbehaved Lunch: Not well suited for highschool level. Conclusion: ok school with little to no gang violence. Sometimes you feel like your not in the right grade. Needs more seniors in the classroom. Lunch needs to be upgraded for highschool students. Better and more organized. Variety of food, and costly choices needs to be provided.Other Review9y ago - Budewig Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't even know where to start with this school. I eneded up moving just so I could get my child into another school district( We only made it through the first quarter.). My child never had any previous school issues from any of his prior schools, until he attedned Budwig. During this time my child was bullied, which i showed proof to the school, indured frequent school fights, I had phone calls all the time from teachers that couldnt handle inhouse school matters, my child explained to me that wgen he reported student issues they were not addressed. I have kept and documented scratches, and bruises on my child constantly from other students. My child ended up with depression and having to be on a antidpressant from everything that was indured in this short time. Children fight in the bathrooms and smoke in the bathrooms, drugs are brought into the school by students. I filled the fomrs to withdrawl my child the last day before break. I called the first two days the studends were back from break and no one in the office answered the phone. One the third day i was finally able to get ahold of the receptionsit to ask about my childs school supplies. ( He was sent with all of the required schhol listed supplies) and was told during winter break that the teachers clean out the rooms. So my son " Had no supplies there." Was it just my childs items thrown out? Or did they go through each students items and do the same? I was given the run around. During the school year i talked to several different teachers and even had a meeting and asked if they offer other programs or if my student could be transfered. ( no other programs were offered.) I went to the someone in the school district which confirmed to me that my child didnt have any other issues listed on his record from prior schools, but was told he would have to not have any issues for 3 months to get a transfer submitted ot antoher school, even though i explained him getting bullied and having depression due to school issues. I feel that my child was labled as a problem child and that my concers were not handled or addressed accordingly. My child is now doing outstanding in his new school with no issues at all. I feel my son was let down by Staff. The parent and student reviews are very accurate. Avoid this school if you are able too. BUDWIG DO BETTER FOR YOUR STUDENTS. Issues should be taken seriously specially when it comes to a child being bullied and that student developing anxiety and depressionParent Review1y ago - Crossroads

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagejust average. Teachers should recommend good text books for students able to do self-study well. But textbook are so terrible written compared to college text book for the same kind of concepts. Many students graduating from this school not knowing much basic science like I thought.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 9809 Richmond Ave #J11.

"The commute to downtown is roughly 30 minutes depending on traffic. The community has great restaurants and grocery stores but your going to need a car or a transit pass. Since I've moved in crime has picked up, so research each area carefully. Some parts of Westchase are better than others. "
