I hate that a great school like Bellaire is stuck under the ownership of HISD. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school. My grandkids started to school there around the year 2010. The oldest is in his first year of college now. The second oldest granddaughter is graduating and on her way to college. I still have grandchildren there. The teachers are, for the most part, exceptional and in all my years I have never seen a Principal work so hard, so it seems to have a trickle down effect to the rest of the employees there. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorst experience with HISD! ALL of the staff from the front desk to the teachers to the principals are especially rude and lack empathy. As soon as you walk into the school it feels dark and depressing. As soon as I could get my child out of this school I did. The Principal seems to be there for a paycheck and has a bad attitude, which makes sense since that is the way the staff members act as well. My kids were depressed and hated going to school here, I wished I would have pulled them out sooner.Parent Review5mo ago

"Wonderful community tucked just inside the 610 loop on the west side of Reliant Arena. Great access to highways, medical center, shopping. Tree lined streets, active community, great bayou waking / biking trails. This is a must see neighborhood."

"I moved here in 2001 b/c my apt has wood floors, I wanted to try it for a year. I thought I'd be list b/c I'd never lived onthis side of Houston. I love it here. It is quiet, safe and close to anything I want. I'm staying until my daughter graduates from Bellaire H S next year, then I will buy a house somewhere. You will love the neighborhood."

"Ayershire is single dwelling homes. Great area for young families with small children. Very safe this is an up and coming area. Neighbors very nice no body bothers anybody. No Condos, townhomes or apartments in Ayershire. Great place to live."
