6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a very terrible school, they give expired food, McDonald's garbage hamburgers. And everyone smokes vape, there is not enough security, many students run away from school and fight in El dollar, which is near the school, many students fight in the bathrooms. Then I recommend that you change. The chicken nuggets by Uno mas Buenos That is MY opinion, good afternoon.Student Review2mo ago - Garden Oaks Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt didn't feel like a community the way some public elementaries do - I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but there were definite "cliques" among parents. The teachers didn't seem to have full command of classrooms, and my child, who attended pre-K through first grade there - fell pretty far behind on reading. She caught up quickly when moved to a conventional public elementary. Montessori may not be for everyone, or at least it didn't work for us, and we didn't feel particularly welcome here or that it was a warm environment.Parent Review6y ago - Waltrip High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince Waltrip has gotten a new principal, the dynamic of the school has changed in a positive way (students are getting to class in a timely manner and not congregating in the hallways and bathrooms). Both students and staff are kind and respectful.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 717 W 30th St.
