3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a new faculty member at this school, I have learned that we have some of the most exceptional students. As of recent, the students have worked with faculty to develop award winning programs both in the Arts and in Engineering Robotics. The Arts program is so good that the Theater Arts teacher and her assistant won a Toni Award and was on TV in June of 2022. Additionally, the engineering department teamed up with a National Championship robotics coach and has made three appearances in the Texas state robotics competition and the FIRST Robotics World Championship taking top awards. Finally, I must add that since the school's engineering program became so popular, the local space services company, Nano-Racks not only partnered with Carver, but also designed and built an Agricultural Space habitat for the NASA International Space Station and named it George Washington Carver Space Park in 2018.Parent Review1y ago - Anderson Academy

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the most horrible disturbing hate that I have to send my child to this school school. There are you know quality teachers to speak out of they treat the children as if they are a subspecies the children are yelled at pushed around told to not talk to their parents about what happens at school they are retaliated against and then the administration does absolutely nothing no one gets punished no one gets suspended not even for threatening physical harm to a 4th grader nothing is done but lies two parents that something will be done and Corrections will be made that never happened if you value or love your child never ever ever send them for this schoolParent Review4y ago - Eisenhower High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely the worst school in Houston. The Principle is mediocre, as well as the teachers. I can't see kids learning something from them. If you are taking your children here, that would not be a good idea.Parent Review9y ago - Drew Academy

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not send your student to this school. If you are an educator, do not apply to this school. It is an unsafe environment for staff and students alike. For a school that supposedly prides themselves for being magnet and STEAM, they only care about STAAR math and STAAR reading scores. Under the current principal (22-23 school year), the environment has become toxic and brutal. Students get bullied with little punishment, special-education students are given minimal opportunities or adjustments, and any teacher who had a passion for their work lost it in this environment. More than 80% of the teaching staff has left this school due to the administrative choices and lack of support. Do not consider this school.Other Review10mo ago - Check out schools near 2189 Mansfield St.
