This school is horrible the new principal is on a power strike trying to change everything about the old school and make it to jail more than a school

My school has nothing wrong i was once a panther and i miss this school no school is perfect but i believe that this is a great school and that they are very educational and diverse dont down my old school i will always remain a panther

My child is in 4th grade, never gets home work. Always gets grade curves and extra credit opportunities. They also count you present for just checking in. We had a Drs appointment at 8:30am decided not to take my child to school and I was called at 12:30pm and was told she could show up as late as 2PM and they would count her present all day. School lets out around 3:55. I don’t think that should be acceptable. I don’t feel the curriculum is challenging enough I don’t see my child progressing like she did in HISD. It is way too easy here,m. My kid has also came home telling me there’s physical fights between students during class and lunch time. The teacher has called me to tell me there is class disruptions from other students that prohibit mine from learning. I’ve called to try and speak to the principal about the matter and never received a call back. Not happy with this school at all. The teachers are nice and all but my child’s education doesn’t rely on their niceness I need to see progress! And I have seen little to none.

My son comes from HISD he finished off pre k knowing all his letters, letter sounds, and numbers up to 50. He can add and subtract single digit equations. He could also reas 2 letter words. All of this in pre-k at HISD! We then Move him to this school for kindergarten and he comes home telling they learning letter sounds only and they’ll stay on the same letter for days. My son says it’s super easy, and he gets bored. I don’t think the kids are being challenged enough here.
