3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had four kids attend Henderson Middle School over the past 10 years. They all had positive experiences. Staff is friendly and caring and teachers were competent. Loved the art department! It is middle school with all the drama kids bring, so of course, there is going to be a problem here or there, but the teachers and/or principals always helped resolve any issues we had. The campus is relatively new (I think it was built in 2016) and the library is not only beautiful, but the librarian is one of the best! I have seen dramatic changes in the overall culture at the school during the past few years with teachers more focused on helpings kids than teaching to a test.Parent Review1y ago - Monnie Meyer Wylie Primary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI do enjoy some of the teachers at this school and luckily my daughter I believe had the most amazing teacher Mrs.Goodwin....however they are VERY strict to a point that they dont allow the children to be kids...I've noticed some teachers yelling at children in their faces and getting in their faces.....they also are VERY judgemental....by the grace of God I dont have finacial problems but those who do are snared down upon and are treated as if they are garbage....the adults are all about gossip....for the community to be so Faith based this school is full of hypocrites! It is ashame because the school does have potential...=/Parent Review12y ago - Northside Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMoved here during covid. Got my son signed up for a SPED Class but he ended up in a normal, but they got that fixed right away. They love my son to death. They worked hard to get him comfortable to be in a GenEd class because he is more than capable to do most of the work. I like to bring up the fact every ARD meeting we have 8 to 10 people there all involved. The teachers and therapist work hard at making it so he can succeed in life. I honestly have no complaints about this school or staff. It was a nice change from the mess of Anchorage, AK.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 505 E Ragley St.
