Investor’s Welcome. If you’re looking to add a vacation rental to your portfolio this opportunity could be just for you! “Leaf Hub by the Bayou” is on the market! Great location in central Galveston near 61st Bayou (less than 5-minute walk) (Beautiful sunset over Bayou). This home is within biking or walking distance of Kroger, Walmart, Ross, Hooters, Panda Express, CVS, Post Office, Randall’s, Specs, City Convention Center, etc... If this didn’t already seem like the perfect location, another pleasing factor is during 2017 Hurricane Harvey no road flooding occurred on the street, no flooding up to current date. There have been several new developments built in 2018 adjacent to property. Enjoy the scenery at the bayou which is a few yards away on the adjacent street Bayou Shore Dr. This home will be sold as is with all content, pre-bookings on vacation rental listing (non-pet friendly), as well as housekeeping linen and terry program. The owner is pleased to announce the rental property is holding a 5.0 star rating. Another key attribute to this investment opportunity is the detached 2 car garage which would be ideal for additional renovations for separate unit to maximize rentals. This is a very common multi-family setup in the Galveston area. Take advantage!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter completely loves this school. The teachers truly care about the children. Since we have moved here from belton school district my daughter has gone from pretty much failing to close to be a straight A student. The teachers want the children to succeed in both school and life. Best school yet. Awesome extracurricular classes great business classes. I highly recommend this school.Parent Review8y ago - Crenshaw El And Middle

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey emphasize and promote intensive teaching with competent teachers who promote a culture of learning and development mostly due to the compensation the school receives when the students perform on state tests.. This a positive in every way where all the students and the school benefits...If they didn't have an incentive, this school would perform at average or below standards due to the the area which is economicly disadvantaged and where English is a second language for many if not he majority...I applaud the state for setting the school up this way...it is a win win for all of its students regardless of their background....Parent Review9y ago - Parker El

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAustin is a great school, my son is in his 4th year (5th-8th) and making straight A's. But wow, about these reviews....to the person whining that they are not "very discriminating about who they let in"...REALLY???? Is this person "discriminating"? How in the world can a parent make a statement like this about another child....they have no idea what kind of grades another child makes by their looks. And the whining about their child having homework??? AGAIN, REALLY??? This is a STEM school, the parent had to "apply" in order for their child to get in, the child must make good grades and have good attendance and behavior throughout their elementary years. When your child is accepted into the school you are told (and given written handouts) that there is homework nightly and a lot of projects. As far as 4 HOURS A NIGHT...NO, not at all. The child must not be using their time wisely and completing what they can in school OR they do not completely understand the topic and the parent should help their child instead of whining about it on a website. Side note: there are tutoring sessions offered for children who need extra help. Recess is a thing of the past and ends in elementary around here, if that is not acceptable....enroll your child out of this district and most around Houston as well because they no longer have recess either. Athletics and several sports are offered, they also get to take beach breaks in the warm weather (lunch, football, soccer, etc. on the beach). My child has been rewarded a lot so the comment about children not being rewarded is simply not true.Parent Review5y ago - Burnet Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is no longer Kipp Coastal Village. The school is Rosenberg Elementary with new administration and a dynamic teaching team. They are a micro society campus and my children are thriving there. The teachers give a lot of love and support, the campus culture encourages and practices inclusion for all students, and everyone on that campus works together to give students the best opportunities possible. If you haven’t seen a micro society campus in action, it’s adorable! More importantly you can see the impact it has on students. The execution of the program is character building. I love that all student have a job, student voice is valued, and students understand and experience what it means when we teach them that everyone is a valued member in the community. If you are new to Galveston or thinking about sending your student to one of the public schools on the island, schedule a visit, you won’t be disappointed.Parent Review2y ago - Scott Collegiate Academy

"Live here for three years, I only know one neighbor but most others are nice. 10 minute walk to the beach, real nice quiet evenings. Only downside is the streets flood easily and during summer city events cars/motorcycles are loud throughout the night and into morning."

"It's like walking back in time. Neighbors take care of each other. They genuinely care about each other and work to keep the community as it is...and has always been... family friendly, safe, fun, easy-going, "beachy" and beautiful. Every fun thing imaginable to do is either here or a 15-20 minute car-ride into Galveston (if you want touristy stuff and restaurants)."
