3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've been at Stevens since Kinder (2nd now) and we love every teacher we have had. We are in the applied learning program, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to apply. The classes are smaller because people apply to AC, but that gives our kids more specialized attention. We love it.Parent Review6y ago - Wedgwood Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Principal is often leaving for the day early...like 10 AM. The VP is overloaded, but tries to be as helpful as possible. Communication between parents and administrators is severely lacking...as in non-existent. If you're waiting for a call back, don't. If you're not standing in front of them, you're not a priority. Parents, be aware that scare tactics are being used in assemblies on a regular basis as a method of trying to get better test scores. It was confirmed to me by an administrator, who seemed to value this tactic. Apparently this is now acceptable. Most of the teachers here are huge assets to their profession, and it shows. They encourage and challenge kids to learn and grow. These are educators who have a passion for what they do, and they are what makes me glad that my child is there.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 6908 Whitman Ave.

"Mid century modern homes and mid century ranches galore, Wedgwood is a great neighborhood! Very quiet and safe, the homes are somewhat affordable and don't stay on the market long. Developed in 1960’s, with almost every street name starting with W, the winding streets of Wedgwood are known for its extensive collection of mid-century modern, California-inspired, contemporary homes. Wedgwood’s Kneer and Hamm designed homes are highly sought after and many are eligible for historic landmark designation. With the TEXRail project coming to Wedgwood, property value continue to soar."
