5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOne of the worse Keller ISD school with awful administration. The administration does not care about your children here at all. Especially those with disabilities. What a complete joke. Stay away from the school.Parent Review10mo ago - Central High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIntentionally excellent is the KISD motto. Very much applied at Central. Advanced curriculum and teachers are first-rate. Staff dedicated and continuously challenging the students. Students can excel in this environment if they choose. KISD budgets are robust and thoughtfully spent.Parent Review1mo ago - Friendship Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnable or unwilling to accommodate children with disabilities. Refusal to follow 504 plans, argumentative teachers. Refuse to communicate. Withhold information and grades. Very poor performing and very low expectations of student body. High focus on limited English proficiency and dyslexia, while everything else is essentially ignored, glossed over. We were lied to for years about our child’s placement and told she didn’t qualify for an IEP, which was not only untrue, it was not legal. Principal is Teflon - refuses all accountability for theirs or others’ actions. Blames and finger-points to shift the focus of self. Our community deserves so much better. Our kids deserve so much better. It is shocking how long these behaviors have been allowed to continue, even when Dr. Westfall, HR, and legal counsel are aware.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 5804 Ridge Lake Dr.

"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
