3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a freshman taking a Spanish 1 class. Everyday we learn something new, everyone is engaged and our teacher, Ms.Marcelino is very caring. She cares about our education and building a healthy student/teacher friendship. I always feel respected in this classroom. I also enjoy having Mr. Simolaridos (I think that’s how I spell it) he is also a very caring teacher. Whenever something is wrong you can usually count on him to fix it. He also provides school appropriate sweaters for when students are cold, and pads/tampons for if anyone has an unexpected cycle pop up. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWon’t give it a 5 because no school is perfect . My daughter currently going there 8th grade and she has been doing good. I always ask how it went if anyone picking on her but if she would have issue I would go to teacher/coach and address it. Does complain there are kids disruptive and can’t focus but I do not blame the teachers or school I blame others for their behavior. I have kids in 4 out of 6 grade levels here.Teachers basically tell parents that ----"that's just Johnny" and remove the victim from the class (remedial class), or tell the other child that the bully threatening to stab him/her just has no filter...….and doesn't ensure the bully is getting help so they don't harm someone.I also have kids with special needs (inclusion) and their needs are being ignored and child is just being accused of rushing through or not paying attention --- when they clearly aren't understanding the work.Parent Review5y ago - Margaret Taylor Smith Intermediate School

They don't adress the bullying and the teachers are so mean to the students. I want to give it a 0/5, but that is not possible. So i give you a 1.Other Review1y ago

"There is a reason we are moving. Forney has become Mesquite 2.0 Schools are rated terrible, fights everyday at the local park, car break ins. Stay away"

"I've lived here for 5 years. the neighborhood is great if you have kids. our street has so many little kids that play outside together. The megatel homes in the neighborhood are beautiful. "
