I have had 2 children complete their entire high school education at Flower Mound HS. There are a lot of very bright kids there and plenty of opportunities to engage in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Both my kids did very well, even though they were not in the top 10 percent. It can be quite competitive on many level, not just academically. This year, my children are both graduating college, one with a teaching degree and one with a medical degree. I have no regrets about sending them to FMHS.

This school may be praised and praised for it's academic achievement in its students, but really, we should also be talking about the morale there. Don't get me wrong, I love that place! I just look around and see other schools getting to do all of these fun activities and events at their school, while we just sit around, stuck with work. It's important to have a good education, I get that, but having fun while you're still a kid is also extremely important.

This school is amazing. I have both of my boys in there and they have had a wonderful experience. The parents at this school are very involved and the PTA does their best to make the most for the students. Almost every parent I talk with has their kids in extra circular activities after school, whether it is baseball, football, music, robotics, ect. The teachers are fantastic and really care about the growth of the students. There is a reason Old Settlers is ranked a 10/10 and after being part of the school for three years as a parent, I can see why.
