1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been in constant danger since going to this school. The fighting is off the charts as they have social media pages dedicated to the fighting at spruce high school. They don't contact the parents when this happens unless they are sending them home. Strongly don't recommend sending our youth to this school.Parent Review1y ago - William M Anderson Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible! My son is suspended for things all of the other "kids" are doing up there anyway. It feels that the staff is tired and just has given up! They didn't even stop 4 girls cussing each other out this morning while the assistant principal just walked by. Never before have I felt so strongly against a school and their "system". I understand this is a "DISD" school but this is the worst I've even seen. We are actively looking for a way out even if it ends up being home school.Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 679 Edgeglen Dr.

"Every couple months a crew comes and tears up the intersection at one end of my block for a few months. Eventually they fix it, but a couple months later they come back. This has been happening for two years now. "

"It’s central to everything. Seven minutes to downtown Dallas, 3 to 5 minutes to lower Greenville five minutes to central expressway and the highways. It’s pretty ideal."

"If you don’t like walking your dog on a leash to you’ll fit right in around here. It’s not great because people like hauling it down side streets to avoid the constant construction that slows down the larger streets around here. But at least if your dog gets hit by a car it will probably die quickly thanks to the speed that people are driving. "
- Neomi Balderas

"There is a great walking trail in the neighborhood and a park. I’ve heard the elementary school is very good. It’s nice to see a lot of parents walking their kids to school. "

"You will 70% step on poop. Living in an apartment complex, there are plenty of owners who will allow their dog to defecate, pee and throw up in elevators and stairs. Irresponsible owners and sometimes untamed/unsocialized dogs. I would beware of coyotes and keep an eye out for scraps left by homeless people near the transit. "
