"Neighbors watch out for each other. It's quiet and safe. The yards are taken care of and it's a joy to sit outside and watch the joggers and bicyclists go by. Lots of folks walk their dogs and speak to each other as they pass by the house."

"Best kept secret in Dallas. Close proximity to Whiterock Lake and world class Dallas Arboretum. Reasonable access to 635 and I30. Garland Rd. initiative will continue to improve area and attract new and unique businesses. Lochwood area homes are built on rock, so there are NO foundation problems, a rarity in Dallas!"

"I have lived here for over two years and it's a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors, great greenbelts to walk the dog and near to White Rock Lake and downtown. There are also award winning restaurants of all kinds nearby."
