4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school. Some teachers are excellent but the majority of my experience with them in my son's four years there has been that the teachers are noncommunicative with parents and turn in grades weeks late. This causes a problem when you are trying to make sure your child is turning in work on time and passing classes because there is no way to know what their grades are until the teachers get around to putting grades in. My daughter is at a different high school and the experience has been completely different there. I do not believe that the administration or teaching staff at Oak Ridge has the best interest of the students in mind and, if I could go back in time, I would have put my son in a different high school.Parent Review11mo ago - Vogel Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was the worst school. You call the school and they NEVER answer the phone. Teachers don’t return emails. Teachers don’t communicate with parents. Seriously glad we only had two years here and she is done! Administration really needs to take a look at what is going on in this school, starting at the principal all the way down to the teachers.Parent Review8mo ago - Houser Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHI, this school has a strong amount of bullying from the staff & students. I did not feel save about my small child attending this school because my child would come home and tell me about the bullying, I would forward the info to the teacher/ staff and the teacher/staff would the began to tell my child "they are lying and nothing is happen to them/on others." So this is a Major red flag! I did do a withdrawal because I do not need my child going anywhere that I have trust issue or safety issues surrounding them.Parent Review3y ago - Irons J High School

"This is a friendly neighborhood, people walk their dogs no problem, always leashed. Never heard of anybody having issues because of their dogs. The only main issue could be the fact that the subdivision is always visited by deer every evening and dogs always barking at them. Other than that, everything is fine."

"Commute gets worse each year as they appear to have no clear traffic plan for FM 1488. They added an additional traffic signal in the last half mile before the I45 on-ramp so the back up now extended through two traffic lights. Can easily take 20 minutes most days driving the 3 miles to I45."
