8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI agree with the other comments. If your child has a disability please run for the hills. This place was horrible from the first day that my child started. They will write your child up for EVERYTHING. My child previously attended a school in the woodlands that was AMAZING but was only a pre-k. They worked with my child and his disability. We were instantly treated poorly as soon as we walked into Buckalew. We are also Black which has been the icing on the cake here. If your child has a disability or is of color DO NOT COME HERE.Parent Review2y ago - College Park High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've had three kids at College Park so far, and we love the school! The administration and teachers are so devoted to the students. We've especially been deeply grateful for the band and orchestra programs. You will not find directors who care more about their students than the ones at this school. They love each student like their own children. They are concerned for their mental well-being, and also help them develop self-discipline, concern for others, and other important life skills. Not only that, they somehow direct hundreds of students to create high-quality performances. The orchestra program is the best in the region, with consistently the most region orchestra members each year. Academically, the honors, dual credit, and AP courses seem to be rigorous enough, but usually not overwhelming. Not all the teachers have been stellar, but I think our kids have received a good education and are prepared for college. I've heard things about The Woodlands HS (drugs, negative experiences in the orchestra and band programs, etc.) that make me grateful that we chose to go with College Park.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 13977 Leigh Lake Ln.

"Commute gets worse each year as they appear to have no clear traffic plan for FM 1488. They added an additional traffic signal in the last half mile before the I45 on-ramp so the back up now extended through two traffic lights. Can easily take 20 minutes most days driving the 3 miles to I45."
