3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student, this school is horrible. The students horrible , as they play, curse, in drama too much, very mean. And teachers are not far off. One teacher said, a student had a ''big nose''. They should be focused on keeping their job and not messing with students. The teachers also curse to much and leave other students who are good out.Student Review1mo ago - Waterford Oaks Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to this school for 2 month and I took him out quickly. The priorities are not straight. 2nd grade....they sent him home with a college research paper.....with questions like how much is tuition, how many student, school colors, degrees offered, etc...REALLY?!?!!! Half your school can't pass the TASK test! Can we focus on the basics of learning!! College research needs to be left to Jr High and High school students.Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 1085 Cove Hollow Dr.

"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
