5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child rarely had homework or any studying that was strongly encouraged. (One math teacher often sent things). Since entering BISD, we’ve noticed there is not a push for students to excel unless it’s test time for Star. There are no parent-teacher conference dates, nor are there report cards sent home. It’s always, “Just check skyward.” But it would be great to get an individual, flagged emailed with an announcement saying, “End of quarter grades have been posted!” It would be good for students, parents, and teachers. As a substitute teacher, i have seen that phones are a problem, as well as iPods. Some teachers let them slide. Without a group consensus and group effort, it’s not seen as a rule by the kids. Hoping I can have more involvement and voice in the year to come.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 35 Buckskin Loop.

"Everyone has seemed friendly and approachable even during these trying times. There are a ton of children in the neighborhood where we're staying. This makes for a happy place.
