7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis used to be a great school before 2020 there are good teachers at the school I've had many of my kids go to the school then a part of the school for 8 years the old principal was amazing the new principal is all talk and it sounds great she says everything you want to hear but has no action whatsoever behind anything she says I've had many occasions with different kids where she was supposed to be where she said she was and never showed faith her smile is beautiful her intense sounds great but her action fails there are a few bad seeds in teachers here. There are wonderful teachers here as well but I have seen a few go I don't know why I can only assume but there are amazing teachers there and I feel for them because this isn't a great work environment I bet it was wonderful 5 years ago but now it's different I had a serious problem with special needs those teachers are now gone and the new teachers there are amazing but there has been some incidences at the schoolParent Review6mo ago - Bowie High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a student who transferred to Bowie. The school as a whole is ok but i wouldn’t recommend this school for anyone.First of all, most of the teachers are bad. They are negligent and don’t try to help us. They find ways to make everything more stressful. The faculty is also bad. The counselors and the principals don’t care about you. Nothing is confidential and they lie to you.The last problem is that they have one of the worst online learning management systems i’ve used. The website is finicky and all the computers are old. Their student portal system is horrible and half the time doesn’t work. I would encourage you to not attend this school.Student Review1y ago - Small Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing school with amazing teachers, support staff and leadership. The PTA is very active and encourages other parents to engage and participate in their childs education. CSMS is an out of the box middle school experience that encourages diversity and freedom of expression, if you are looking for a typical middle school with traditional values, this might not be the right fit. We loved every minute of our 3 years, including the covid years!Parent Review9mo ago - Check out schools near 8001 Pinto Path.

"This area is close to Hwy 290, William Cannon, Mopac, and Circle C which means you can get anywhere quick. Circle C is expanding with new stores and restaurants, including Alamo Drafthouse. The 'Y' in Oak Hill is also expanding to accomodate the growing population. If you love having an Austin address but want an out of town feel, this is the best place for it. You just can't go wrong with this area!"

"We moved in to this area for the excellent schools and the perfect location. Only 6 mi to Barton Creek Mall, 8 miles to downtown, 3 miles from Loop 1, and the grocery store only 2 miles away. We can walk or bike to our son's elementary school as well fabulous restaurants and shops. . We love it!"
