5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 3 kids at timberview high school currently. One freshman, sophomore and senior. My overall experience with this school is terrible. My freshman is dyslexic and they knew this because your paperwork follows you. They waited until after the 1st 6 weeks of school to get my son in the right classes. And that only happened because I had to continue saying something to them. Then my sophomore has some medical issues and is on medication they suppose to put her on a 504 plan but that has still not happened also the dance teacher of timberview I had reached out to her about my daughter and her response was to tell her Counselor but that was pointless because neither the teacher nor the counselor helped at all with my daughter Then the dance teacher lied on my daughter and told another teacher from another school that she had contact with my daughter when she really didn't because my daughter was in another school at the time that the teacher was blown away when timberview dance teacher lied to him he told her that my daughter has been with him at his school for the last 7 days. Then she tried to clean up her story. At this point I'm really starting to feel Discriminated against Her AP is white the principle is white and when I had a meeting with the both of them neither one of them sat there and really took in my my feelings and how I felt with them in their school and how they've been treating my daughter my daughter by far is perfect and nobody's children out here is but for them to be educators they should be there for all our children and when 1 of them have are having a hard time that's their job to make sure that while these children are in their schools that they get the proper Education that they get the proper treatment. And towards my daughter they treat her like she ain't sh#t not one of these teachers have reached out to find out what is going on with my daughter Then only treacher who has is her Ben barber teacher All timber view wants to do with my daughter is make her another statistic make her have a record make her sale they have not contributed not once to her education now once try to help her not absolutely nothing I have an application that is still with them waiting for them to finish to sign it to send it off to the other school and they've had this application since January 9th since we returned back to school this month and still till this day have not Turn in that application my senior didn't even know Darrel was the principle.Parent Review1y ago - Della Icenhower Intermediate School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible schools. The school handles Bullying by catering to the bullies making the ones being bullied feel even worse. There is a severe ant/roach problem in the classrooms and the cafeteria. They never have any food left when it is time for my kid to eat lunch so they have to make it, then the bells rings right when they sit down so my kid does not eat half the time. The athletics are a joke, the term "coach" to this school means to sit down and laugh and chat it up with whomever on the bench...there is no "coaching". I have zero good things to say about this school. If you have the opportunity to take your kid to any other school then do so. There is no leadership here and our kids are suffering. It is obvious MISD is out of touch as they have done nothing.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 7617 Yearling Way.
