5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am totally surprised at some of these evaluations, but things do change over time. I taught at Andrews High 1968-1973 and Andrews was a very good school with very good teachers Our weak point was our principal, he liked to smoke with the those kids in the smoker alley. Our teaching staff was very good, and we had students placing in state competitions. In the upper elementary school, one of the teachers literally sweared and said "we can say whatever but you guys can't", the school did not address it. The principal like to sweep things under the rug and wait for them to go away. The staffs hardly ever informs the principal of these issues either. The nepotism is the worst when it comes to two teachers who are mother and daughter who think they are the queen (mom) and heir apparent to the throne of this school (daughter). "I live here for 24 years. The neighborhood is awesome. We watch each other houses when we are gone shopping or out of town. The kid around here are pleasant and very obedient. They help the elderly when they see them. We take care of the elderly when they are sick.. this is a friendly neighborhood.. you have to love ANDREWS.. we also keep ANDREWS clean.. "

"We keep the dog safe in the backyard. But when we bring our puppies out. They stay in the front yard. And plus we have watch in our neighborhood."

"It is a block from the golf course and we are all a bunch of foodies who cook and share! We also have a great mix of old and new homes! One of the other uniques features of the neighborhood is that just about everyone owns a golf cart. "
