7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudents with disabilities may find themselves learning advocacy rather than reading, writing and arithmetic. Yes, the school does have many outstanding programs but if your child needs additional supports, they will effectively find themselves without access to those same, tax payer supported programs.Teachers at the school are great, however, district Sped administrators are non compassionate and aggressively confrontational to parents.Parent Review1y ago - Gene M Reed Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child loved going to Reed Elementary. The teachers are caring and knowledgable. My student excelled in his STAAR tests and we feel confident they prepared him well for Middle school.Parent Review8mo ago - Walter & Lois Curtis Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBad, I hated this school. As a student that went to this school I have to say the people their are just mean. First if all, the girls there are jerks most of them think the world revolves around them. I had a friend and girls were teasing her for having her period. All the girls go through it so I don't see a point in saying that. The GT kids think that they are the smartest people in the world and everyone else is stupid. Tennis team is terrible the coach is horrible, he doesn't even know how to play tennis. High School Seniors still hate the Curtis Tennis Coach. Teachers were so-so if you are quiet teachers will most likely not like you but if you are loud and obnoxious they do. Favoritism is huge in this school all the teachers have favorite kids, classes and teachers. And they don't even hide it that well. In fact, they flat out say it. Most if the teachers are republicans, I had a teacher who told the whole class that she voted for Trump and all the white kids believed her. I had other teachers with the same experience as this one. Sports and Clubs are just a popularity contest. Before someone says for me to grow up, I got anxiety from that place, I have an anxiety attack every time I think about that place. There might not be bullies here but you will make enemies, anxiety, depression, people who expose you to TikTok(social media) and fake friends. If you a personality, smarts, talent and beauty congratulations you just won teachers favorite, a relationship, and people who hate you for your success. Unless you aren't a GT student or popular you will never have a relationship here, so don't think your are going to have your Disney Channel Moment here. I know people say it to get you ready fir the real world but these are just kids at least slowly work them up to reality. These kids are already going through and awkward phase, with puberty and finding your true friends.... Please don't add this to their list.Other Review1y ago - Lowery Freshman Center
