I have had two children at this school. Unfortunately the office staff (Mostly Belinda) are incredibly rude and the principle is not much better. At first it seemed like just a personality trait but when it did come down to resolving any sort of issue it was problematic. They will speak to you in a condescending disrespectful manner and seem unable to understand. I get along with people easily, work with the public and am good at conversing with others, but even for me it was very difficult to speak with them and there was no resolution. It is really disappointing that people like this are in these positions and have been for so long. Children and parents deserve better. There’s no sense in being unable to converse, be empathetic, and have some sort of people skills when working in a school, especially an elementary school. These are our precious children and the head of the office and the school should understand that. As for the teachers there have been some pretty great ones. There has been a turn over with several of the teachers leaving for another school such as Battle Creek.

This school is okay to say in the best way possible. the homework is kind of okay in the starting portion of school 1-3 weeks in. but around 4-7 weeks in they start to get a little bit challenging. but if that's not enough. if you're in a class that you chose, like engineering, or computer science. they will give out tons of tests, homework, and forward as if. but the best thing that is great about this school is the bullying. as I have been bullied myself. I know that if you tell the teacher or your parent/guardian. they WILL handle it. although they might have some bad things, like teaching (long story short, I don't know anything in ANY of my classes, except for digital art.) and lack of social and emotional support. (it okay, but it could use improvements) this school is rather okay.

As a former student of Spring Hill Middle School, I can say without a doubt it is a terrible environment. Students with learning disabilities are often mistreated, and everything going on there and the way the staff handle it has taken a huge toll on the students mental health, so I would recommend if to enroll your child into a different school if you care about them.
