8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy family has been at Nolan for 5 years. What a wonderful community school with dedicated and caring teachers! It feels like family, and I appreciate how welcoming & caring everyone is. I’m impressed with all the opportunities for families to get involved & volunteer (PTA, happy cart, helping kids in art and STEM lab, Grandparents day, Veterans Day, field day, book fair, listening to children read, helping with copies, fun run, etc.) My son loves school… especially related arts classes: STEM lab, art, Spanish, PE, library, guidance, computers, and music class. I love how kids support and include students who have special needs. I love how my son exercises compassion, helpfulness, and care with a peer who has Down syndrome. There is a big emphasis on celebrating everyone and making kids feel proud of their unique strengths. The monthly character award assemblies are fantastic! There is a school song & the kids link arms, sing & sway. Kids say the pledge of allegiance every day and the Nolan knight character pledge. There are lots of academic clubs & competitions, chorus, drama, student council, kindness ambassadors, cross country, chess & book clubs. Every child gets to perform annually at a PTA program. My son has been loved, cared for, celebrated, made many friends, and has thrived academically with such loving teachers. I appreciate the strong communication from Nolan. The thing I want the most for my child is to enjoy learning and to feel happy & valued. Nolan does this! Every child deserves to go to a school as awesome as Nolan!Parent Review1y ago - Chattanooga State Mid College High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBy far, this school is the only way to go in Chattanooga. These students are college ready before they complete their 9th grade, and they are living breathing college from day one. Absolutely no other school on this side of the state comes anywhere near the test scores or graduation rates. And a nice plus - the leadership and staff are a pleasure to work with. They know their stuff and treat our children as if they were theirs. I've looked to relocate with my job to other states, and I can tell you that a program this good is very, very rare indeed. This one school is worth staying here until they graduate and in the U of Tn system for another two years at least.Parent Review5y ago - Hamilton County Virtual School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagesame as everyone else. There are problems with the high school they don't really teach they just yell at the kids they just have a very boring "do this" and never actually get any learning.Parent Review1y ago - STEM School Chattanooga

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor the 2015-2016 school year I have been extremely pleased with STEM school. The principal and staff members actually want their students to succeed. The class sizes are small, students take ownership of their work and other responsibilities, and the environment is exactly what I wanted for my son.Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 2 Windy Way.
