5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe administration at this school constantly undermines the rights of the parents. The principal at the school does not treat situations fairly but claims that he does. Homeschooling would honestly be better, your children can tell the staff the truth all day long and they will call them liars to not only the students face but the parents face as well. Then give them ISS or detention.Parent Review7mo ago - Gallatin Senior High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDear Mr. Henderson and Dr. Seccia, My daughter started at Benny Bills last year (2014/2015) for Kindergarten. She was placed in Mrs. Perry’s class, which turned out to be a great thing for her. She thoroughly enjoyed having Mrs. Perry as a teacher last year. I have personally praised Mrs. Perry directly for being an amazing teacher, but thought it was important to let those in charge at Benny Bills know as well. Mrs. Perry truly has a great love for these children and an amazing passion for teaching them. She also understands how important it is to keep parents informed/involved with their child’s school life. She sincerely cares about these children and it shows. I knew this from the very first week of school last year. I dropped her off in her class the first full day, and she cried when I left her. A couple hours later, I received a surprise call from Mrs. Perry to merely ease my mind and let me know that she was fine and not to worry about her. That made a difference to me and made me feel my daughter was in good care. I can’t tell you how important that is to a parent and she knew that. For the rest of the year, Mrs. Perry had an amazing impact on my daughter’s development all around. She kept me informed and was always open to suggestions about anything pertaining to my daughter. I really feel she flourished in her class and that Mrs. Perry prepared her so well for first grade this year. Mrs. Perry is definitely an asset to your school. I know that teachers are often underrated and not always given the credit they deserve, so I wanted to make sure this wasn’t the case with us. We are giving credit where credit is due. Kudos to Mrs. Perry! I will also say that my daughter has had an overall positive experience at Benny Bills thus far. She loves it there! I look forward to seeing how she does this year with Ms. Williams. I am hearing great things about her as well. Thanks for running a great school!Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near Dobbins pike.

"Nothing really. It’s a lower middle class neighborhood. People behave for the most part. It consists of smaller, starter house tract homes."

"Drakewood Dr is the best neighborhood in Portland. It has a beautiful lake and the yards are kept perfect. There are some wealthy people that live in this neighborhood. The people who talk about Portland bad, must be low class. So move out of our town. "
