4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI entered Central with mixed feelings, having heard not the best things about the school, and most of my friends were attending Ooltewah instead. However, looking back, I have no regrets. I absolutely loved my experience at Central. It is its own community, but you definitely get back what you put in. Take the time to learn about the school, its history, alumni, and the amount of people that truly love it. Love Purple, Live Gold.Other Review3y ago - Sequoyah High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a recent Sequoyah High School graduate and I have to say this is the best high school. The teachers are great, the guidance counselor is awesome and so helpful, even down the the nurse being an awesome person and so caring and helpful. I went into Sequoyah because the former principal Mr. Jackson (he retired 2019.) had the inkling that I would be able to bring up my grades and do good at Sequoyah. And I was able to. I went from failing 3 out of I believe 5 of my classes at my old high school my freshman year because the school that I previously went to was just that bad, teachers and student wise to having all A’s and B’s my sophomore year and continued on to get straight A’s my junior and senior year. This school helped me succeed not only as a student but as a human in general. I was taught so many things from the teachers and not just learning material. I was taught kindness, integrity, and other strong foundations for going off into the “adult” world. If you are thinking of sending your child to Sequoyah, please do because it is the best school with the best staff. I love and miss this school very much.Other Review4y ago - Snow Hill Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBy far, this school is the only way to go in Chattanooga. These students are college ready before they complete their 9th grade, and they are living breathing college from day one. Absolutely no other school on this side of the state comes anywhere near the test scores or graduation rates. And a nice plus - the leadership and staff are a pleasure to work with. They know their stuff and treat our children as if they were theirs. I've looked to relocate with my job to other states, and I can tell you that a program this good is very, very rare indeed. This one school is worth staying here until they graduate and in the U of Tn system for another two years at least.Parent Review5y ago - Hamilton County Virtual School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagesame as everyone else. There are problems with the high school they don't really teach they just yell at the kids they just have a very boring "do this" and never actually get any learning.Parent Review1y ago - STEM School Chattanooga

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor the 2015-2016 school year I have been extremely pleased with STEM school. The principal and staff members actually want their students to succeed. The class sizes are small, students take ownership of their work and other responsibilities, and the environment is exactly what I wanted for my son.Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 10660 Lost Lake Cir #31.
