"Super easy to get downtown, I bike there in 20 minutes staying on bike paths most of the way. Everything else is 15 minutes away in a car."
  • Trulia User
"Every friday the neighbors do a socially-distanced get together byob and “get to know you...” It’s been cool getting to know everyone over the course of the hangs. I personally couldnt ask for more familial neighbors."
  • Trulia User
"I love this area. Everything about it. Just expensive. Kids and dogs and people walking and bike riding. Shelby Park: fishing, walking, golf, bikers and very diverse. Some of us still do the famous 8 PM “HOWL!” I normally feel very safe and everyone supports our local community businesses, which are VER COOL!! We’re a stones throw from Titan stadium and downtown. So much fabulous music and holiday spirit. People watch out for each other and are always willing to help. We have singles, young parents with small children up to boomers. It’s beautiful "
  • Trulia User
"Great neighbors, good playgrounds and great walking distance food. Playgrounds in the area are a great place for getting to know other parents and the local community."
  • Trulia User
"Tons of festivals and community involvement- families, playgrounds, and great restaurants nearby. People are very friendly and helpful and neighborhood is diverse and eclectic yet safe."
  • Trulia User
"diverse, good people around the area, lots of walkable restaurants, bars, etc. Wonderful urban and historic elements found throughout the streets."
  • Trulia User
"Great neighborhood. Lived here for 5 years and love the convenience of living in the city. Love the dog park, bike and walking trails."
  • Trulia User
"Great friendly neighbors, animal lovers, walk to everything East Nashville has to offer!"
  • Trulia User
"East Nashville used to be "The Hood" but has emerged over the last decade as the new place to be. With amazing restaurants, coffeeshops, parks, and stores within walking distance, this area has appreciated in value faster than any other neighborhood in Nashville over the last 12 years. The historic homes have been renovated heavily since the tornados that tore through here over ten years ago, adding modern amenities while keeping their charm. Margo's, Marche, Silly Goose, and Eastland Cafe, four of the finest restaurants in middle TN are all a walk away as are Rumours Wine Bar, 16th Street Bakery, Rosepepper, Jeni's Ice Cream, and some of the cities nicest coffee shops. Why fight the traffic when you can commute to downtown Nashville in just five minutes? This is where you want to live."
  • Trulia User
"Only 2 miles from downtown Nashville and steps from public transportation this is a great location for pets and couples alike. Walk to the 5 points and enjoy the freindly neiborhood with the dog park and Shelby Park just blocks away. Huge fenced backyard and exceptional upgardes, this is the spot. "
