"I love this area. Everything about it. Just expensive. Kids and dogs and people walking and bike riding. Shelby Park: fishing, walking, golf, bikers and very diverse. Some of us still do the famous 8 PM “HOWL!” I normally feel very safe and everyone supports our local community businesses, which are VER COOL!! We’re a stones throw from Titan stadium and downtown. So much fabulous music and holiday spirit. People watch out for each other and are always willing to help. We have singles, young parents with small children up to boomers. It’s beautiful "

  • Gresham H.
"East Nashville used to be "The Hood" but has emerged over the last decade as the new place to be. With amazing restaurants, coffeeshops, parks, and stores within walking distance, this area has appreciated in value faster than any other neighborhood in Nashville over the last 12 years. The historic homes have been renovated heavily since the tornados that tore through here over ten years ago, adding modern amenities while keeping their charm. Margo's, Marche, Silly Goose, and Eastland Cafe, four of the finest restaurants in middle TN are all a walk away as are Rumours Wine Bar, 16th Street Bakery, Rosepepper, Jeni's Ice Cream, and some of the cities nicest coffee shops. Why fight the traffic when you can commute to downtown Nashville in just five minutes? This is where you want to live."

"Only 2 miles from downtown Nashville and steps from public transportation this is a great location for pets and couples alike. Walk to the 5 points and enjoy the freindly neiborhood with the dog park and Shelby Park just blocks away. Huge fenced backyard and exceptional upgardes, this is the spot. "
