There are no good schools around here. Moshiem Elementary and West Greene Middle are terrible schools but it saddens me that there are worse. "I grew up in Mosheim. It’s easy to say it is great when it is all you know. However, I have lived elsewhere. Coast to coast. I was active duty military. I’ve lived in some great places, but nowhere has been as friendly and in my opinion safe as Mosheim. Great for raising a family. "

"The area itself has good people, 2 restraunts (mexican and home cooking at Sandys diner) 1 gas station. Rt 81 is just a few miles away with gas, convienience stores and fast food, Yoders country market approx 1 mile. (amazing amish store). rogersville and morristown are within a 15 to 30 minute ride as is greeneville for larger dept stores, restraunts and theaters."
