2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon't let the scores intimidate you. There is a new principal at Bolton, and he is turning things around. The school has an International Baccalaureate (IB) program. My dealings with staff have been very good. Some teachers can be slow to respond to e-mails, but I'm not sure if it's due to their workload. My daughter was set to go to Arlington High School, which has an 8/10 score, until we were able to interact with some of the IB students. They were impressive! Juniors were giving great presentations and talking about projects they managed that would be challenging for many adults. The program's graduates rack up impressive sums of scholarship money. All in all, I am glad my daughter is at Bolton. We look forward to the next four years.Parent Review6y ago - Lucy Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved my daughter from a charter school here and she enjoyed Woodstock much more. My son is currently at Woodstock and is doing well. He struggled the first quarter due to the virtual platform but the 6th grade teachers were more than will to assist with providing work to improve his grades. He has since brought all of his grades up and is doing well but I don't think he could have done that without the open line of communication provided by the teachers. Ms. Conrad emails assignments due each week for the 6th grade teach which allows for parents to be aware of what their students should be completing. Mrs. T. Smith-McBride is AWESOME as well!! A parent could not ask for a more responsive and understanding principal.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 4311 Pharaoh Dr.

There plenty of security around the city. When it is dark keep your children close to your side and enjoy yourselves."

"Raleigh is a step above Frayser when it comes to crime. it has a bad reputation but in all honesty it's not that bad. the schools are not great. my biggest complaint about Raleigh is that there is trash all over the place. I don't know if residents of Raleigh are just more prone to litter, or if they just don't have the city cleaning up as much as they do other areas. either way the trash is really appalling. if you turn down Coleman Road coming off of Egypt Central, that road is a prime example of how junky it really is. and that area could be really beautiful."

"YWCA, Liberty Bowl and it's a very nice library on poplar. it's nice restaurants and other ammunities that you can use totally to your advantage. It's a very underrated area and it's good to build your knowledge of Memphis. Coming from Atlanta it was easy to love this area. Forcefully this security is important throughout this new journey. Daily traffic is undoubtedly an issue throughout this new city. Memphis has outstanding food. I mean the food is outstanding all over the city."
