She has complained about teachers inappropriate behaviors as well other students bullying her and eachother. Also, my daughter was trying out for the majorette's team. I was told to pick her up at a certain time after school that day. Well, try outs was cancelled and one of the school staff's did not allow my daughter to notify me nor did anyone else notify of the cancellation. Because of their unprofessional, inconsiderate decision, my daughter had to walk home during heavy rains. I was highly upset. I immediately called the school and got no answer. I feel like the school staff do not have a passion for their jobs because otherwise they would assure that these kids are safe and taught properly.Parent Review5y ago - Melrose High School

"There is nothing but trash and broken glass all around the complex but especially on the walk outside of the gates. If you want to get to a good walking neighborhood, your dog needs shoes. Also, no one picks up after their pet here and the management doesn't have any waste stations despite charging a lot to have pets here."

"Great food and night life. Artistic, mostly safe area. So close to the zoo and museums. Historic neighborhoods, BBQ Shop (best in Memphis, In my opinion). The whole area is about to blow up with the ballet and new condos. "

"Perfect 10 to 15 minutes anywhere in Memphis from Midtown the heart of the city. Yet you are nearby things in walking distance which is what I LOVE ABOUT Midtown!"

"Commute isn’t optimal. But that’s just Memphis and Shelby County as a whole. The public transit throughout the city is unreliable and make it difficult to be punctual anywhere without being, two hours at a minimum, early. Makes it difficult to schedule around. "

"I've lived in Midtown for 20 years in the Idlewild Historic District. Living here is similar to living in a Thornton Wilder town. Virtually all houses have nice sized front porches where folks enjoy sitting outside in mornings & evenings. "
