5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am not sure how to rate this school as of yet. The teachers that I have met seem okay. However, the administrative staff may need a lesson in manners and common courtesy. They have horrible attitudes and I think they lead the way for a few teachers that wish to display their unfortuante personalities as well. I may come back in a few months and have something better to say. (God willing.) I have to say...our schools up North would NEVER be run the way this one is.Parent Review10y ago - Giles Co High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve had several children attend this school and the elementary school (across the road). Both are riddled with poor quality teaching staff. The BOE is no better when addressing any concerns. Giles is a small town, where most that went to these schools stayed local. Everyone knows everyone. The 7-12 is headed by a Coach, that doesn’t appear to have much control of anything. His wife is a teacher that (“shock”) repetitively receives “teacher of the year”. The SRO is a good man, but he has his job cut out as staff and faculty work against his efforts by causing infractions to either school safety/policy or common sense, when concerning security. Are all the teaching staff at the HS or Elementary school bad? No, but the the good ones don’t outweigh the many negative aspects of this school system.Large donations to the school or football team are greatly accepted and will grant your son or daughter “super student/ athlete” status, and they will all be warmly accepted and treated with great honor.Parent Review1y ago - Pulaski Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI personally think that southside is a great school!! My daughter had a great teacher in 3rd grade(Mrs. Christie Simpson). She was very easy to get along with and all the kids seem to love her. My daughter had excellent grades in her class from the begining of the school year until the end.Praying that she will get a great teacher this year!!!:)Parent Review11y ago - Check out schools near Weakley creek Rd.

"My family lives in this area! This is one of the best neighborhoods in Lawrenceburg, TN. The neighbors look out for one another, not in a noisy way but a helpful way. Everyone around this home takes great pride in their home and area around them. This is an excellant place to raise children, it is close to schools, churches and shopping. I would not want to live anywhere else in Lawrenceburg. "

"I live directly on the Hwy. Have found people to be uncaring about stray animals. Everything is very accessible- you can walk all over the area. We LOVE the square-especially when Green streets starts! People are so nice everywhere you go. We now have a nice Movie Theater right in front of Walmart and they are doing things to attract lots of people. Did I mention the people??? The people here are great!"
